ChrisHullDesigns.co.uk was established in 2007 to create an online venue to display and sell Artist & Musician Chris Hulls range of Limited Edition Prints, produced from original Paintings by the artist. Every effort has been made to Design the best platform possible to show this extensive collection of work.

Chris Hull's range of artistic work includes landscape paintings of Snowdonia, and the Lake District.

About Chris

Christopher John Hull – Artist & Musician - works from his base in North Wales. Not only does he produce Beautiful Landscape Paintings in Watercolour, he also produces his own Music, creating soundscapes that capture the atmosphere of the landscape and pictures he paints. Chris also loves photography which he has developed alongside his love of painting.

Chris was born in the West Midlands, England in 1959 and attended art school there during the mid 70’s. After leaving art school he became involved with music, writing and recording his own material and touring with different bands during the 80’s. After becoming disillusioned with the music business he moved to North Wales in 1993, and inspired by the beautiful Welsh Landscape, he took to Photographing and Painting the Mountains and Lakes of Snowdonia and more recently The Lake District.

Chris has experimented with many different painting mediums including oils and pastels but favours watercolour because of its fast and spontaneous qualities. ‘It lends itself beautifully to the ever-changing light and atmosphere of the mountain environments that inspire me so much’ he says.

On many of his walks collecting reference material for his paintings Chris has always had his camera to hand, preferring the speed and convenience of photographing the landscape rather than sitting and sketching it. Since the early 90’s Chris has amassed quite a collection of images some of which can now be viewed on a new DVD montage produced by Chris set against a backdrop of his own music.

His love of music stems from his childhood and over the years has gained much experience playing, teaching, writing and developing his own unique sound.
